The first APL IndiaLinx route from Mumbai to Delhi will be serviced by trains:
- That can carry a capacity of 90 twenty-foot equivalent units (teus) one way.
- Thus on a weekly basis the train will have the capacity to transport 110 teus one way in the first month.
- This will be increased to 225 teus per week in the second month and finally to 270 teus per week from August onwards.

During the next three years, APL IndiaLinx will set up a container terminal in the National Capital Region of Delhi and various parts of northern and central India to further expand on transport services.
